All of the spark plugs properly plugged in and the right order? You got that hose on the valve cover on tight with no cracks in it?

Yeah we tightened it down and had everything back together and then took it all back apart.... I should've just skipped school and came over that day you told me too :(

the weird thing is it idles perfect.. not missing or anything so the plug wires were right. not sure.

yeah it sounded perfect the first adjustment at idle and then made noise at right about 2k, then the second adjustment there was a light tick at idle and then it sounded bad at like 2200-2500...

Drove it there and did the valves, its from the valves genius, that has nothing to do with fuel pressure...

Oh my bad must have read wrong, my car used to cut out at 3 to 4k turned out I had low fuel pressure.

So i tried doing this myself yesterday, and it was a no go. I did it twice and first time it sounded amazing at idle and sound really bad at 2k, then redid it and it was a little rougher at idle and got bad about 2200 so I am over this shit and am now willing to pay someone to do it today, I know its superbowl day but Im told that if you know what you're doing it shouldn't take more then an hour. And I am with out a car currently and need one to get to clackamas tomorrow morning for a certification class thats only once a month. I don't have a job currently and this class will get me one. but I have to get there, and can't with out a car, yeah no buses go out that far... Please Someone help me

Guys reading this, when it r3vs to about 2000 RPM the rocker arms sound like there klacking really really loud!

runs fine, idles fine. Drove there fine

So EJKnight came over and adjusted them too and it still did it so I think Im gonna have to take it to a shop, or just have it towed to my place and take the head off and bring it to someone... Man this sucks!

or they cant check it really, while its running

take it somewhere with the head on. The car was what 1500$ something could have been wrong. For that price still a good deal :) keep your head up

Yeah I think I'm just gonna use the shift linkage from the ix and put it in the eta, and if I need to I can use the tires to if I need to
