Did the pan break off in chunks? maybe you got some shards up in the crank or the underside of the piston/rings and caused internal damage...

I was going to ask about the pump, but that was already asked.

All I can say is this is the PERFECT time to swap =)

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

Chunks would first somehow have to get sucked up by the pickup and through the oil filter first.

I say it's something stupid. Maybe something was jarred loose in the impact like a vac hose or intake boot and didn't come completely off until he drove it a bit.

You said the exhaust was intacted, could there be a leak at the exhaust manifold gasket, or did the exhaust even get hit the road?

it's not the exhaust. the car makes a horrible chugging sound and sounds like it's running on 4 or 5 cyl. kind of like when you blow bubbles through your straw. as far as we know theres no oil in the coolant. we'll do a compression and leak down test asap.

the car ran beautifly for about 15-20 mins until it started to get hot and i know this isn't the first time the car has been ran too hot. when we noticed the car was too hot we turned it off, let the pressure die down, and then re started and bled the cooling system.

abe was the car running when you went inside to grab your stuff?

Maybe you got a ton of oil in your intake from when you lost all your crankcase pressure and still had a vacuum sucking it up? I'm so confused what the symptoms are now..

Do a swap or cut your losses and get a new E30. Doesn't seem worth all the trouble to do hella work just be back into an old eta that was never that clean to begin with! Just my .02 cents, and ALWAYS drive like you're way lower than you really are. That blows dude! Very interested to see what the leak down test and compression test show you.

Arrggh I wish... But that would jusy mean my car would be out of commision longer. Plus all the extra stuff I have to buy for a M50 swap. :/
I ideally would like to fix my current M20B27 or find a cheap enough M20B25 and pop that bitch in. What are you asking good sir?
