There are 2 wheel repair shops in Renton. The one on Sunset seems cool, but have not used their services.

    Yet.

    Closing SOON!

I'm curious too. If you find someone that can weld a crack in a forged wheel, please let me know. Thanks,
      Ryan

I have used dependable wheels in renton. ... when my wheels got shipped from Japan to here, I didn't know they were bent. 2 of them had bends in them ( They have hollow lips )and I had all 4 lips needed to be redone. ..

They will take u to the back and put your wheel on a balanced and show u exactly where the bends are. If welding is needed, they will charge u for that and more depending on how much welding is needed. Depending on the bend, simply fixing it will need welding cause of the stress put on it to straighten it out. When I dropped off my stuff, there was a 4-5 week waiting period since they were backed up...

All in all I spent over $900 and the wheels didn't need welding. I was happy with the work and service but didn't like the waiting period. ... I had show quailty wheels and no one would picture how gouged up they were. .... ride quailty was perfect with no vibrations... I have pics if needed

I have used Dependable wheel many a time and I can vouch for their work. They will generally charge around $75 or so per wheel for cosmetic repair (aka curbage) which they do with a fancy grinding rig, and then $100 or so per wheel for bends. I will usually give them a whole set of wheels and they'll cut me a deal for all four...

I'm considering picking up some Style 32's that have 2 wheels bent at the hub. Do you think that's something this place could fix?

BTW, love the Hartge's in your signature!
