    I went to McLendon's in W'ville and it worked out fine, although I did have to do a little filing when I installed the lock rebuild kit in the driver's door. Couple of the inner tumblers were a little too long, I think because the key I had copied was so worn the new key was the same.

          my locksmith just made me a working key. for $5

                I'm confused... you have a different key for your door and ign??? What year? what model? and we might be able to rekey one to the other.

                  If anybody here called and left a message a couple days ago, I'm really sorry, I couldn't understand the number you left... I got 360, but that was it...
                  And for anyone looking for a keyless entry system, call Luke... Cut a couple keys for someone he did a keyless entry for... Awesome job.. Looks like the ones in the ebay add earlier in this thread.

                    Yes, I have two different key as in the attached pic, the one on top is the ignition and the bottom the doors. Its a 1989 325is. Can you cut the top one?

                          Chris there is a place in northend Tacoma that has E30 keys, and cuts them for like $5 a piece.
