    WTB 5spd driveshaft, ix tcase

hey all, i need a rwd drive shaft for a manual gear box. its going in my IX. unfortunately i am forced to convert it to rwd temporarily. my tcase took a shit after i snapped my front drive shaft on the picnic cruise.

also i need a new t case at some point down the road.

pm me if u have either one!

EDIT: also looking for a getrag 250 or 260 5spd!

I don't know that this is going to work. there's nowhere to mount the CSB. you could drill some holes I guess..

how did you "snap" a front driveshaft? pics of the carnage? :(

ya ill have a pic up soon. thinking of starting an award to pass down at the picnic for who had the most epic fail from power over the year.

but ya i was thinking about that. ill have to see how it fits in there before i have a plan haha.

if i were to just remove the tcase from the coupler back, would a standard 5spd shaft be the right length?

yeah I think so, it just has to match the output flange/flex disc size.

if you're needing to remove the transfercase, the VC must be toast, huh?

oh you'll also need to figure out a trans mount since the ix mount is on the transfercase.

ya i figured if it would be way easier to just make a bracket that would bolt up to where those 4 posts are.

i dont know though. id rather just find a good tcase.
