My name is Steve, I just arrived yesterday in Portland for my first year working for an aerospace manufacturer. My plant is down in Clackamas right near the "town center." I'm originally from Philadelphia's suburbs.
I'm a long-time BMW fan and finally was able to buy a clean '91 318i in alpine white in March. In April I picked up an S50 but couldn't work on it until after graduation. With barely enough time before my relocation, I finished swapping an S50 w/ rebuilt ZF320 just last Friday. Luckily it fired right up and runs great without issue. I haven't really opened it up much, it's only running open (eBay shorty) headers at this point. Shippers picked it up yesterday, it will probably be in transit for 10 days or so.

I'm currently in a Nissan Sentra rental car (meh) and will be until my E30 gets its exhaust sorted out. I am in need of suggestions on local exhaust shops capable of doing some fabrication. I bought a UUC system U off r3vlimited that is riding out across the country inside the car. I'll need that to be mated up with the headers with some sort of midpipe or extension of the eBay midpipes. The headers look fine relative to the subframe and sway bar, but the rear bank collector points tangent to the LCA bushing/lollipop. That will likely need to be cut and rewelded in another orientation, but I'm fairly certain it'll work great after that. The catback has hangers already on it for an E30. Any tips? I'm obviously on a budget but I need quality and I need it to be done asap, and I know it's going to be an in-depth job.
Also looking for a good reasonable body shop for minor work - exhaust outlet needs to be cut for dual tips, and I'd also like an iS lip to be fitted.
