There is a For Sale section on this forum, and you can label your thread PNW if you wish. We have really been skirting the whole FS section, and we're lucky that this forum is so laid back.

I've been on other soupnazi forums where they'd really come down on you for putting FS ads in the "gatherings & regional discussion" section.

A FS subforum here wouldn't make sense, if anything just add a Regional classifieds section under the already-existing E30 Classified Forums: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=95

That way you could have PNW, SoCal, Northeast, etc.

I'm sorry, what? There were sooo many FS threads in the PNW section, yet there aren't so many that you think a single thread is somehow manageable?

It's good the old threads are still out there taking up space, because it allows me to look at each page and see how "quickly" things are jumping around.
1st page: spans 24 hours
2nd page: spans the next 24 hours
3rd page: spans the next 48 hours

So the first 3 pages spans about 4 days right now, and this is with all the FS threads. I realize not everyone checks this section as often as I do, but even if you only checked it on Saturdays, it doesn't seem like the post frequency is all that high.

Do you know what takes more time? Trying to keep track of 10 sellers and all their responses in a single thread, even with my post count per page maxed, I see 15 pages

Plus, half the time the FS threads turn into regional discussions since people tend to know where the parts were before the current seller :)

And how many of those FS/WTB threads have regional content because we all know eachother? Personally it spices up the FS threads and makes for a more interesting read for me. Perhaps I am alone on this.

Maybe if people were less aggressive with bumping threads?
