If the mods don't want NW specific FS threads, I'm betting the alternative is to just make us all post in the global classifieds. Half the time I'm selling stuff though, I don't want to ship it, and want the NW guys (including you Pro-3 fellows) to get first dibs anyway. If I wanted just any E30 ricer kid to buy my parts in some shading dark parking lot, I'd use craigslist.

I can't wait for the Global FS threads that tell everyone not from the PNW to gtfo

Why not just agree in here to "PNW-WTB:" or "PNW-FS/FT:" in the regular FS subforum, and use the search function to find those threads, and use this thread as a general chitchat about specifics of those threads?

And this will take less time, and produce less clutter for the community at large then what was going on before?

I like the brainstorming, but in the end I think that we intentionally chose to put particular FS threads in the regional forum. To post those threads in the global FS forum with no intention of selling to them strikes me as wasting their time, instead of ours.

Plus, now I have to do a search of the FS thread every time I want to know what's local?

I''d like to hear from the Mods exactly what the thinking was on this one... Was it just a "Demz the rules!" action, or are there some consequences and trends that we as lowly users are missing here?

I don't give a shit where the regional classified subforum would be, would just make it a lot easier to find specific stuff that people want to be sold locally. The global FS section is crazy busy as is. Plus it's surprising how many people from other regions browse our section for parts asking to ship lol.
