          Looking to have some stuff done soon and looks like JD powder coating is out of business. Any recommendations for a decent place? This is all just suspension stuff so it doesn't need to be 100% perfect.

            There is a fab shop in Donald called GK Machine, I had them blast and powder coat every single pice of suspension off an E21 and they did a great job for very reasonable price. I'm definitely planning on using them again

              ...keep in mind that many powder coating places do not offer chemical stripping. Blasting to remove coating from steel is one thing, but blasting aluminum alloy wheels is not really recommended unless you are a master of the masters on this shit. I think relatively soft media is good as pre-primer, but that's it!

              Also, make sure the shop knows that you do not want 'fat' paint on the wheels.
