Does anyone have a spare ECU for an M20B25 that I could borrow to help diagnose a problem? I figured this meet might be a good time to get it if so.

I'll be there. I have a spare B25 ECU.. From an auto. Not sure if that matters or not. I think if you run an auto ECU in a manual there isn't a rev limit. :)

You can stop by before or after and do some testing if you'd like. The only issue is it has to stay at my house, unless you only need it for a day or so!

525 is the last three digits of the ECU number, which is about all we ever use since they are all unique. See this for a list of Motronics 1.3 ECUs. There are other numbers for the older and shorter lived Motronics 1.1, but you lose the ability to do a stomp test, which only the 1.3 had.
