might want to go to s14net and look at what guys pay for e30 m3 interiors to be redone.
1,000-2k is norm for front and back seats redone.
there is a difference in the seats.
used seats in very good condition that is cheaper than 1,000 is saving money.
so do you want the real parts or something that just looks like them its all up to you.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ have it or you don't been there.
the parts are the sum of the car so cheap parts means cheap car.Comment

My neighbor has a set of M3 seats in his iS and the passenger side has a sig burn in about the size of a dime in it. He was offered $700 + s&h and he said NO.
Trust us (M3 owners) when we tell you, people will pay for the "real deal" and as carfantiti has just said, getting your interior redone is about $2k total. which is about $1k just for the front seats.
If you know of a place where I can get my interior redone, the right way, for a better deal then I'd be all over that.
Bottom line is this guy wants $500 for his seats. It's CL people, call him or email and offer him $400. Then you just scored a hell of a deal, imo.Comment

look at mine on ebay or my thread here.
I seen e36 vadors 800.00 why they are heavy seats some guys say uncomfortable. Why do guys want sport seats and pay more vrs comfort seats.
Just what you want and what you want to pay. If I had a non m again I would want e30 m3 seats in it. Only reason I'm getting rid of my sweet seats is I'm doing all evo 3 upgrades. Why should I let them rot in a garage when some other guy would be happy with them.
my seats don't have a rip, tear, split and no one offered me 700.00 shucks hey I wish all E30 m3 parts cost 10 times the price that is how I feel about the E30 m3.
peace e30 m3 a legend not just every other car!!!!!!!!!!Comment

And though regular E30 owners would put M3 seats in their car, you will never see an E30 M3 owner put 'is' seats in an E30 M3. Or at least I've never seen an E30 M3 owner put the wrong seats in and I've seen a lot of E30 M3s over the years.Lance Richert '88 M3, #35 PRO3, i3 etc.

I can's say anything that hasn't really already been said, but yes the M3 seats use the same stitching and covers as the convertible but with the coupe tilt-mechanicals. The padding, frame, headrests, sliders and back panels are all the same throughout the E30 range.
They are a bit high in price if you ask me, for that price I could get a set of coupe seats and recover them in new M3 pattern upholstery. I'm actually in the process of doing just that, just waiting for my kit from creative options.Originally posted by bmwm42PNW vulture pm me for partsComment

I'm not the first one to do it. Besides, the only differences are the upholstery, once I put M3 upholstery on the coupe seats I have effectively turned them into M3 seats. In any case, Im really only doing this to preserve my original M3 seats, that and I won the upholstery in the E30 picnic raffle.Comment
