Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Picked up a ix this week after looking for one for months. Came with a few extra parts, and im not too crazy about the wheels though, but so far im enjoying it. Has a few problems, needs a new cv boot(ordered last night), and both lower ball joints. Also i have a question the ServiceOil light is on even though i have already done a oil/ oil filter change (put 5q in), why would it still be on? Also is there any other members from Spokane here?
Newb- 325ix is there any Spokanians here?

'88. Not too shabby.
That "oilservice" light is on because it comes on every 7,500 miles, whether you like it or not. It alternates between that and the "inspection" light. You can look up how to reset it. Real simple. Also, there's a pretty big Spokane calling on nwbmwforums.com. Check 'em out.
Welcome!

Good so see another 88 around, there the hardest to find but in my opinion the best. A helpful tip is do all the cv boots now because if ones bad they all will be shortly.
Good luck and congrats on the carComment

Nice to see there is a good e30 community in Spokane. I'll be moving out there in June 2012. Never been to Spokane but I'm definitely excited to get a change from Nebraska.Comment
