Ya i did...it was a very tempting car and I was seriously interested but there were too many things that scared me away. I don't know hardly anything about vw's, it had higher miles, the cel problem which could have potentially prevented it from passing DEQ which was a concern, the exhaust was a straight pipe, and the plates needed to be registered to oregon still.

he seemed like a great guy and he was very nice, I just didn't want to take that chance you know? If it would have been a car that I am particularly interested (another e30, porsche 944) I might have taken that chance. No hard feelings by any means

hahaha my friend had a straight pipe awhile back and whenever we went on a drive I wanted to kill him, there was just no way I could see myself driving the "annoyingly loud" car....I appreciate the kind words though, thank you. What 10 other cars do you have though? Anything I might be interested in???

Unfortunately they are all either being rebuilt or scrapped haha. I was going through my inventory last night but I couldn't come up with anything you would want

hahaha alright...thanks anyways. i just want something new. i thought that my car would sell itself fast by being calypso on black 5 speed with such low miles, and since its r3v where everybody has e30's I figured someone would be able to offer me an e30 coupe that may have a few more miles, or be bronzit, or stock or something. I dont know, but honestly I did think more people would show interest (I've had like 15 inquiries, 5 semi-serious).

....then again, I can't imagine this would be the same story if I were posting this in the spring and going into summer.

What would you be looking at price wise for a straight sale?

well I would start at about $4300. Thats what I have into it, but thats not to say that I'm extremely firm
