Ok, we've talked about this for a while. Several of you guys have great looking cars that would look EVEN BETTER with a full paint correction detail. People see imperfections in their paint and think a respray is the only answer - think again.
Greg and I both have the gear, so we could do 2, maybe 3 cars. Everybody else can come watch/learn/eat/drink. Expect that this will take a full day. I'd plan on going over:
-Washing your car (if you're doing it wrong, you're only inducing more microscratches and swirl marks!)
-Claying your car
-Taping
-Machine polishing
-Hand Polishing
-Waxing/glazing/dressing
-Lots of learnin' on tools/supplies/etc.
Still need to decide on a date and location we're going to do this at... but I suggest bring your own beverages and bring a couple bucks to pitch in for pizza.
So post up if you're interested and we'll decide who's cars are most deserving of getting shiny. Oh, and please understand: We're showing you how to do it, not doing it for you ;) This will be exterior only, we probably won't have time to cover engine bay and interior stuff.

New Info!
DATE: Sunday, April 15th
TIME: 9:00 AM - ??:00 PM (This takes all day. You come late, you miss info. That's on you)
LOCATION: mlarsen's shop (6602 South Tacoma Way Tacoma, WA 98409)
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring wash buckets if you have them, a hose, etc. Bring any detailing equipment you have if you want to try some things out on your own car, or if you want an opinion on what you have and what you need.
Bring some food/drinks for yourself or to share, we'll probably pitch in and get some pizzas but bring whatever you want.
ETC: Please understand that we are not detailing your car for you for free. This is an informal instructional GTG where we will be sharing our knowledge and experiences in an open setting. We are not experts, and we certainly have not seen it all.
Don't be a dickhead. You come in acting like a know-it-all/douchebag/5bros you're going to get booted.
This is a private e30 event on private property. This is NOT an open invitation to all makes and models of BMWs or any other car.
Please be mindful that we are guests at Matt's shop, and we need to be respectful of the facility and the equipment around us.
Just kidding. Feel free to do burnouts on the shop floor, liquifart into his hand towels and spill gatorade on the service desk.
