You can get brighter, for a little more money but this way you won't look a douche blinding on coming traffic.
Ya but what if I wanna blind oncoming traffic..;)

But no really, I don't wanna blind ppl but just give myself a better light output than my regular stock sealed beams

Also wanna know what kind of HIDs these are :)

I have 4300k 55w VVMEs and I love them. Nice and white. I hear DDM is inconsistent when it comes to color temps.

did you have to get the relay harness option on yours? also was it the standard size or the slim ballast?

Then don't be surprised if I slam on my brakes and take out your HID's with my tow ball..

I am not sure about Washington, but I know in parts of Oregon, the cops are starting to crack down on the cheap HID's that are dangerous to other drivers.

Hahah, ya I haven't heard anything about that going on in Washington. Guy I work with got some cheap $30 HID kit from ebay just to try it out. They are positioned horribly and look like shit as well.

But no I don't wanna blind people I've been that other person before where I seriously have to squint at the right to find the white line so I didn't crash

So they include the lens to focus the beam correctly and remove the reflectors? Oh they don't.. then they are DOT illegal.

it's an older link, but the information is still valid.

I have ordered expensive and cheap and I have experienced no difference but Im willing to bet some are crap based on how many cars I see with only one working. Im running ebay ones in the E30 and have had no issues. My E46 and Durango have some higher end ones and I cannot tell the difference. The ebay seller even replaced one bulb for free because I told him it took longer to warm up than the other.

Very nice. Ya idk if want an ebay item and also don't want to pay for over the top expensive kit. But very good info on here guys.

Another question. I have smileys and will the light output be the same when you have the city lights on with an HID kit? Pretty much, will it work?

City lights really don't make that much of a difference at all, unless you have a LED bulb in it.

I recommend a 6k 35w HID. I ran those in my NA ellipsoids and they were awesome. They were just a slight tint of blue, but not too blue. Really brighten things up without being overpowering. IMO, the best color for an HID.

Very nice. Ya I was thinking either going with a 6k or 8k but not sure. I'll have to look at the colors some more.

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

I have a set of DDM HID's and I love them. Simple and efficient. Great price too. I rock 5600k. Its basically white daylight.
