Just looking at most of ppls steering racks I don't see those tubes, but I'm putting s50 in so maybe I should keep them and hope they clear the oilpan..

I did the same, and it worked out with enough clearance to keep the "cooler" lines.

Driveshaft is on, Center Support Bearing is on [ that was pain to replace!]
LSD is on, fluid changed.
Linkage is good in place,

yeah if you got any questions, feel free to ask, i have just little things left like coolant, change tranny oil, put power steering fluid, and then exhaust.. thats about it...
