I thinks its a cool concept but $12,000 to get a car 30 miles on electricity is a bit crazy...

I wonder what it takes and how much to convert the hvac heater system, from radiator to electric.
Must be nice not to worry about the old heater core leak and plumbing issues.

I read a write up in this car. It's a pretty cool idea. Just wish it could travel further

I'd like to know if the 30 mile range is due to the bad batteries? It might be able to go alot longer.

Really cool idea but i'd rather ride a bike if I can only go 30 miles on a charge. haha.

Yea with an upgrade in batteries, which he mentions it needs, the range can grow quite a bit. I love electric cars. I would rock the shit out of it. Slam it to the ground. Its not like you're going anywhere fast, might as well be low. Its a 144V system and he has a good controller and motor. This could get up into the 50 mile range with money wisely spent on batteries. I think the ones he bought are garbage. Also on the EV Album he shows his cost only around 8 grand so this could be had for less than his asking price. Its a lot cheaper to buy one already done, than trying to build one.
