Shipping would be quite expensive, I think.

You can ship dogs by plane which I've done to get dogs to AK for the Yukon Quest/Iditarod. It's expensive though, and the last time we did it it ended up being cheaper for my dad to buy a plane ticket and take the dog as his luggage. That way he got a cool trip and was there to watch out for and care for the dogs the whole way. I wouldn't ship a puppy but it can be done and the airline workers have always been fantastic about taking care of the dogs.

Good luck and I hope you find this guy a good home!

Let me see if I can't get some local interest in the pup. If not, then shipping might be the next best thing.

This just might possibly be the saddest thread here on R3v. I'd love to take him, if I only could.

With a special needs dog (let alone a puppy,) I really wouldn't ship him. If I had room for another dog, I would most certainly take him in. My Pomeranian would get along pretty well with this guy.

I'm really glad to hear this, David. I really don't have room, but I was thinking about coming to get him just so he'd have a home.
