Well I guess it would help if you are a tool but usually you have to bring your own tools.

Fenders are held on with 8mm bolts.

so those are e30s. I went to all 4 in the area last summer. When I was there, there were a lot more. Definitely the first spot to check if you are looking for a fender because it costs 30$.

you have to call each individual shop to learn the colors they are not on the website.

zinno is tough because they just label them red and there are 3 colors of e30 red, or even 4 if they call calypso red.

portland has just about the best junkyards per capita I have ever seen. i think there are a few reasons for that but it doesnt matter.

theres a picknpull in happy valley. It is actually where portland ends and happy valley starts, right there.

I have been there.. But it isn't a pick-n-pull anymore. I was there on the last weekend they were a pick-n-pull and pulled an M60 (32 valve BMW V8) from a 1993/94 740il along with the auto trans. Got the whole thing out the door for a little less than $100. And someone ripped of a brand new set of tools that I took along. Dirty Fucking Whores...

Theyre both still on their website....? The one in happy valley is on 112 and foster, and it is right next door to a auto dismantler that does not do pull your own. That could be the one you think is closed?

Most of the forums Ive moderated if people only could manage to add one sentence, or worse no sentences but just say this, a forum picture or something Id delete the posts and warn them. Its funny.

I think the roughest thing is trying to explain to someone, that non vert fenders fit on a vert. Im not always nice about it cause it takes to long to explain.

But definitely, Im hitting all the pnw picknpulls very soon lookinging for a red non vert fender for my vert. Brain cells may explode at the thought Im sure.


I cant believe theres a e30 owner in portland of all places, that hasnt been to all 4 pick n pulls. I just brought it up because I saw the thread "im searching for a fender" Thats some weak weak sauce lol. Searching for an extra fender someone might have in your color. Definitely someone needs to hook up to junkyards, especially in portland where there are so many.

More I think about it, I have misspoken - It was the Damascus, OR yard.

it is possible that 112 and foster is damascus oregon. it is a very very 4 corner intersection. It is a county line intersection.

I call it happy valley because i worked like... 1/4 mile past it an i know thats happy valley. but, happy valley goes towards the 205 and damascus might be what goes farther east.

happy valley starts there but it goes to the clackamas mall... its a um, 205 area town. damascus i dont know

Im not a long time portlander. I know that picknpull isnt the only dismantler in fact in north portland theres a big one. If someone has been to that one id love to hear about it. But im sure ill check it out

No one is arguing with you about fenders. You can put whatever you want on your car, please stop making threads about it. And good luck finding fenders (or anything else) at the Sherwood yard, most of the E30's that run through there are cars I have brought in. This means they are stripped to nothing but a shell

the sherwood yard is the least hopeful place to find a e30 or anything good. too many professionals working there at all times.

Never found a thing there and its huge.

my impression from only 2 visits but you dont need many.

on the flipside they sometimes have interesting cars for sale.

I went to all of them. I saw more e30s in north portland than any other place by far and they come and go fast too ( northportland is a port as you know, metal is ready to be shipped off to china there)
and be certain of northportlands website not showing any of them or half of them its obviously corrupt.
part of why portland has such a huge huge junkyard mass is it gets cars from several northwest mountain states who do not possess the infastructure to dispose of cars. Its true, portland is the largest exporter port for steel on the west coast( over seattle bay and LA)
due to lax safety and pollution laws compared to washington.

All of this is interesting trivia I looked up when I was there.

Its part of why here in a rural area a broken car goes for 50$ or 100$ but in the portland area never ever because you can sell it for scrap for 400$ all day. Billy bob is towing broken cars to north portland all day long
