    E30 Turbo Tuning shops

So I want to get my M20 boosted, and want to get a shop to do it all. Are there any shops you guys would recommend in the greater Seattle area? Of course if they specialize in E30's it would be good. I want to get around 7-8psi of boost, No more than 10psi for sure though.

I'm gonna be down in PDX this friday, so maybe I could even talk to someone down there if anything.

Talk to John T at Horsepower Freaks in Portland. I know they do not do E30 stuff there, but if there's a place that can, he'll know. They specialize in E36+ FI.

Might want to check with John at CarbConn in Kirkland. They have probably done a few of these over the years. Though PRO3 cars are not turbo'd, a lot of PRO3 cars do their dyno work at CarbConn so they know the M20 pretty well.

Honestly you don't see many turbo'd M20s around.

I had a guy come in for a tune a while ago, 89 325 w/M20b25 on MS w/no boost control, no TPS, and no IAC. Didn't make very much power, and twas a bitch to do, the car was built somewhere and brought to me for a tune. Everything appeared to be stick welded and beadless so we blew pretty much every pipe off of it over and over, and it continuously leaked oil on our dyno. The owner comes to pick up his car dissatisfied with the power made, later I find out that after he got the car home he found massive boost leaks everywhere, and the guy he paid to build the car was fixing oil leaks by covering leaks with RTV. OP wherever you take your car to have it tuned, try your best to make sure it's "ready", getting quoted for a tune then having to pay to have a bunch of stuff fixed is a pain for both you and the tuner/shop.

I recommend miller performance for a decent priced turn key setup, ive never driven one of their boosted m20's...but ive seen the work they do and my m50 turbo they built runs amazing. Im pretty sure they are still 15 minutes across the border of washington, they will build it all for you. from dyno tuning to custom exhaust setups, front mounts, head gasket swaps.

it really depends on how much you want to spend, and how you want it setup. Exhaust manifold (top or bottom mount), tuning setup (megasquirt, chipped ecu, or miller war, ect.), injector size(stock ecu is capable of 30lb tops i believe). Stock headgasket or MLS, aftermarket clutch or stock.

Pm me if you are interested in any other info.
