If you are not wanting to drive up to Kent and back to 16 again, I usually organize a Tacoma meeting spot to join up with the main cruise as it passes through the area.

Good amount of people are usually there until late afternoon. It seems the Fort is still the afternoon destination so if you don't find many people downtown, head up to Fort Warden
