If everything goes well and you have help, you can do it in a day. Mine came right off the car but I ended up having some issues with other items (wheel bearings) that took longer and pushed it into day 2. If it's stubborn and stuck to the chassis, then yes, 2 day event.

So unless you plan on working fast, having help and nothing going wrong, subframe work would probably not be recommended :p

Suspension swaps, brakes, etc are all easy projects to do in a day. The transmission swap we did last time was pushing it, but luckily Derek had some great helpers to get his done!

I am down to come by for the day and hang out. I wouldn't suggest trying to get a subframe dropped and reinstalled in one day, but I would love to help do one anyways. I would like to gain more experience/knowledge in this area

Subframes can be a big job, specially if they are stuck to the body!

At this point, I will be hosting it in Olympia, so I have all the basic tools, air tools, jacks, press etc needed for the jobs listed so far, but I only have one set. So if you can bring any items you deem necessary to work, do it :)

Late April date work for everyone so far? (say 28th? or maybe May 5?)

And helpers are always useful so come on out with or without a project :)

I've been putting off swapping an e36 rack into my late, airbag 325i. From what I've read, it's fairly simple (I have the parts), I just need a dremel to clearance the firewall, and some way to make/alter the steering shaft boot bracket that bolts on to the firewall. If someone can lend me a Dremel, I could do it that day.

^^This. I have RTAB's, Diff mount, and SS brake lines/clutch line to do as well.

I also have a coil over install in mind, could be a productive session that covers quite a bit. Either way I am in to come help/participate!
