    Hello

Hi everyone. I've been lurking on this board for quite some time now, figured I should finally introduce myself now that i've got my car almost to the point where I'm satisfied. I've got a 1990 325i sedan... lowered onto some 17x9.5 corvette wheels.

I work downtown by lower Queen Anne and commute across i90 every day and barely ever seem to see any other e30's! Anyways, if you see me wave, I swear I'm a nice guy! When's the next get together?

Also, does anyone local have some rear springs? Mine were cut by the PO and are just a little tooo low. Thanks!

Damn, that's clean! I was looking at buying the exact same wheels yesterday for my schwarz e30 and was looking for a picture to give me an idea of what it would look like but couldn't any fitted on an e30. Guess we might be twins, sorry..

Also, are you running adapters or 5 lug swap?

Twinsies is cool. My car is actually a purple flake, she just looks black in low light/cloudy days ;)

I went with adapters from Adaptec. Effective offset is 10mm front and 16mm rear. since the Corvette wheels are +56mm, the adapters are pretty hefty.

I know you didn't ask but the tires are Kuhmo Ecsta AST 215/40r17. I probably should have ran 205's to make them fit on the car easier, but i didn't want to run too much stretch since this is my DD.

I spent all day today rolling and pulling my fenders to get these things to fit, and they still rub in rear! Not on the fender lips but on the inside inside the wells... sucks. Be prepared to roll + pull fenders, hammer wheel wells, grind down strut housings, etc.

Careful where you bang the fenders. There is a spot where you can hammer it more, but too much or too high will cause outward dents lol.

Ah I see. That's pretty cool. So you're running 46f/40r adapters, damn... I dunno if I'm up for that yet. Maybe sometime this summer.

I actually like how the 215s look, good amount of stretch. Props on the fitment.
