Help: In Eugene, throttle cable issue

Driving along this morning my gas pedal hit the floor. Throttle cable is disconnected and the mounting point is super scary janky ass something by the previous owner. Don't know how I didn't notice. Would love some help soon. I need to get back to Portland on Tuesday. Thanks R3v

There's a few members in Eugene. Hopefully one of them will be able to help you.

    Good luck man.

Let's see a picture of the problem.
what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.

Tie a shoelace to the throttle body actuator and leave the hood popped open. Use the shoe lace to control the RPMs and away you go.

Don't have one right now. The cable is disconnected and not even long enough to connect to the actuator. Even so the previous connection involved electric tape and some kinda cement rubber..

Here is what I'm dealing with.

So you can see the frayed cable, and then the attachment point on the throttle body is totally jimmy-rigged.

Need an e34 throttle cable and clip to connect the actuator.

Where is your car at? I am assuming not driveable at all?
