I want to do this!!! I just took Skid School at PIR in Portland which was pretty fun. On to drifting!

Where's the class located? Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA?
            Damn, 3.5 hours from Portland.

Has anyone ever been to this before? I wonder if you get personalized instruction, or you just practice with a bunch of other cars.

PIR is nice, Yes is in Evergreen SpeedWay and yes you will get your Personal Instructor there is 5 Students per Instructor in 1 by 1 with instructor will drive/drift on track and just make sure to brind some spare tires. Obviously last year ppl ran out tires 1/2 way day.

Means I need to bring spare rims too. Extra set of rims with tires on them. :)

Sounds fun. I wonder how limited space is

No actually the grippier the tire the better. The better traction you have the better you can drift, if you're on a shitty tire you will just be spinning out all day.

Drift on whatever you can afford. New tires last longer and are better but I rarely ever drift on newbies.. these damn e30s have soo much Camber wear in the back I ussually go through 4-6 sets of tires on a dry open drift day.
