BMW Race Team on Display in Tacoma Saturday Morning

There is a place called Griot's Garage in Tacoma.

They do a thing they call "Caffeine & Gasoline" on the first Saturday
each month.

I heard a radio ad which said that there will be a BMW Race team
on display this Saturday. I only caught part of the radio spot,
and wasn't paying close attention, so I don't know what team or
how many cars. It may be just one or two cars and nothing else,
or could be cars, haulers, drivers... I don't know.

But the place has a mini museum that is worth going to if you
are from the area, and I think they serve coffee and donuts.

If I find out more, I'll post it later.

IIRC that is what the radio ad said.

Gotta warn everyone, They only serve Donuts and Coffee in the morning.
We went once not realizing "Caffeine and Gasoline" is an early morning
thing, and missed the main part of the "Display Event". It starts at 8:00, and IIRC, it ends by 10:00.

It looks like there's a BMW Tech Session afterwards starts at 11:00.
I'm guessing that it will be a BMW focused session on how to use
their car detailing products (?).

Yes, there is going to be a bunch of the PRO3 cars on display.. I think the Jager car might even be out.

I'll be wearing a cammo jacket & boonie hat.

For cammo officianados... the jacket is German Flecktarn, and the hat is Marpat. Jacket has small German flags on the shoulders.

Who knows, maybe I'll drive my first bimmer there (if I buy one
between now and Saturday... )
