                Geno, ETA's are different then "I" cars.

                    The actual size of the yoke/guibo is different on some cars.

                            It happens to everyone, they get much worse than that (somehow..)
                            blunttech got them for the cheapest I've seen. It's not a difficult job, but also not one you want to have to do more than once because of used part failure.

                              looks like you knew it was bad and kept on going. and now want to skimp out on a less than fifty dollar part. get a new guibo and chase the threads. new lock nuts are a good idea. the drive line design on these BMW's is odd. i can understand a center support but a guibo...it is next on my list of preventative maintenance.
