Any locals good with wiring? HID help needed

I figured why not ask the locals and see if any of you are very good at wiring up euro ellipsoids and projector fogs. No, this is not for an e30, it is for my e34 touring.

Obviously monetary compensation will be offered and we can decide on what is fair. Here is the link to my thread, it will outline basically everything I need help with.

    Thanks!

Well damn, if no one else would be willing to help, I am willing to make the trip.

I hope you read my thread so you know what you are getting into. They are both DEPO made (headlights and fogs), and from what I've heard the whole wiring kit is wrong and needs work/modifications :/

Not a problem. We could get it figured out. I won't be free until next week sometime though.

PM me your phone number and I'll text you tomorrow and we'll figure something out.

I did look through your other thread and if I'm seeing this correctly I think your missing a connector for something. However I could probably just make it for you too. But like I said we will figure it out.

Yeah, I'm not sure how different the e30's setup would be compared to the e34 setup!

HIDs (and really, lighting in general) is cakework. If Dussen can't meet up with you, I could lend a hand.

If you were closer, I would love to help you out. When I first started out doing HID's a few years back (I'm an HID distributor,) I really didn't know shit about them, but you learn fast.

Basically, if your car already has a 9006 headlight connector, then most HID's are plug and play. As far as the wires in your cap go, you don't use those, but you do need to drill a 7/8" hole in the center of your cap, because that is where the little rubber gasket goes through. For the city lights, you can pull the connector out of your side trim lights and hard wire them into the connector for your city lights (easiest route, IMO.)

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

                -Austin

Yeah, I've just never been much of a tech/electronics/wiring guy at all, so this stuff doesn't quite click in my head! I will PM you if I have any questions that arise!
