Ok, so I bought this car with the intentions of lowering it in the future, then my friend told me it wouldn't be a good idea because it would mess with the awd system. Is this true? Because I'd really love to lower the car but don't want to run into some trouble.

You will only run into trouble if you slam it. Run Bilstein shocks hd or sports with a slight drop like h&r sports and your all good.Originally posted by blunttechr3v does not fuck around. First you get banned, then they shoot you -
With my personal experience with H&R sports I would not recommend getting them. I was really unhappy with how the car sat. It had a little bit of a reverse rake and looked weird. So, I had to chop a coil off the front end. Looks way 100 times better but, I wasn't too happy about hacking up coils I just bought brand new.
I think if you have a couple extra bucks go the Ground Control route.Comment

You can lower them dude just keep an eye on your boots. They WILL not last as long on a dumped car compared to a car on stock springs. Ok, so the car came with some bilstein shocks not sure if they're hd or sport. Would it matter. I'm also going to go with the gc kit. I've heard that the common thing that goes bad when you lower is the cv boots. But I only plan to lower the car at most 1.5 inches. So I hope things will be fine.Comment
