I hate shipping. I don't like dealing with people from out of state for small, cheap items. I like local transactions and cutting deals to local guys, etc. Therefore, I post in the local regional forum, in hopes of making a fast, easy transaction with someone local.

The viewpoint that FS threads make PNW unnavigable is simply whiney and bitchy though.

Correct, they are not the same thing. The PNW subforum should be about the people and cars of the PNW, which includes those people of the PNw selling local parts for the benefit of other PNW cars.

I would agree more if we were seeing a couple dozen new threads a day, but we don't. The first page covers the entire weekend right now, and takes me all of 10-20 seconds to glance through depending on if I'm on my first or second cup of coffee. I realize it may take you significantly longer and be a burden on your Internet surfing abilities, but you must realize you are in the minority, and to change things would be to inconvenience the majority so as to save you however many seconds.

We could of course subforum out all the popular PNW topics, FS, Events, WTB, need help, picking on 5 toes, but then the main forum would be a ghost town. We'd have to visit a half dozen different thread lists to see what is currently and conveniently displayed on a single page right now.

Dude I can't stop laughing at that one. Seriously not keen on losing the F/S threads here, I doubt I'd have stuck around without them because it's a much easier and more reliable way to guys from the forums locally. Otherwise we're just zcar.com with crappier cars.
