maybe....if it was better material and not clothe....and maybe if they didn't cut sections of material to wrap each side and glue them together on the console lol...it was such a terrible job! luckily interior peices are cheap to find if you're willing to search and wait for the deals.

Great seats but the blue suede was never in E21. They tended to be vinyl or leather optioned and the base sections had lower bolsters and the seat back lifts are in different places. E21 seats have the forward leg bolster as well.

That being said they are still nice seats. And honestly I'd rather have the cloth trophy's if my interior matched as they have deeper bolsters. The wheels look like a future lawsuit in the making. What are they going to do when some one cracks a hub and crashes and someone dies.

thanks for the info! i actually wanted the leg bolsters...maybe i'll keep searching for some real e21 seats...was wondering why these were so cheap compared to the others i've seen.

yeah i've bled the system with it raised on jack stands...it didn't help. yesterday i finally got the aux fan to kick on after installing the new radiator temp switch, weird thing is that it didn't actually kick on low speed until the temp gauge was past the 3/4 mark, which leads me to believe that maybe the temp sending unit/gauge is off? i'm not sure, i gotta wait for my buddy to get his tools back. if it's not that i can't think of anything else to replace...all the relays are working correctly and i've tested the low and high speed functionality by jumpering the wires and it all works after replacing the aux fan resistor...maybe i just need one of those aftermarket radiators with an electric fan and manual switch? i guess that might have to be the route to take, but i'd rather save myself $500.

that's like a qtr of my turbo money! but i do have to get her cooling correctly before i slap a turbo on her and beat her up more.

Turbo is waaaaay more money that $2k to do right. Where is your head gasket at? You say you've tested all these things for overheating, pull the cluster and check the gauge.

I'd lean more towards bleeding again on flat ground or temp sensor (cheap and easy to replace) Generally if its the gauge it wont work at all or will work if you smack the cluster.

thanks for the heads up on the turbo pricing....good to know what to expect lol.

head gasket appears to be ok....i drive her pretty hard. on friday's drive i was pushing her to the max (i have a spare rebuilt motor ready to throw in). she doesn't blow any black or white smoke...power is pretty decent, mind you i haven't driven other e30s, but for 230k on the motor power wasn't bad between 3-5k.

i'll try bleeding on a flat ground and see if that helps. i'll report back my findings! probably later tonight ;)

i'm leaning more towards the temp sensor as well....the gauge always works and has never been intermitten *knock on wood

but i think the temp sensor is the last thing to replace for me....that and the head gasket.

I personally have an M42, I've heard M42 is worse to bleed then M20, basically you just pull the valve and lightly rev it till no bubbles come out, usually end up with a large puddle on the ground (recommend putting drip pan below) I have even heard of people taking a spin around the block while the bleeder valve is lose.

I always bleed with the car stone cold.

Nice car. I would not have been happy with the wheels. JMO

                              Step 1: remove fake wheels

                              Step 2: Send back

                              Step 3: Slap vendor

                              Step 4: Slap self

Step 5: Buy lotto ticket, your luck is running high right now.

seats are actually recaro ls-b. came stock in late 90's gti and gli the "leather" ones were called tropys however they are still ls-b.

car looks good though. i used to have the same seats in my e30
