I'm always pretty hesitant when I make offers.
Too low and you can insult the seller to the point of being non-responsive.
Too much and you feel you could've asked for less.

Was selling my old convertible bug for $2300. Got offers of $800, some weed, unregistered home made gun etc. Also, put my cousin's Jetta on the selling block for $6300 and got offers of $2500 by some asshat who says the car is junk. (why does he want to buy a piece of junk then?)

Ok, I'll bite.

Im the low-baller in this story. (im also one of the cheapest mofos out there)
I go to my local pick a part and the first e30 i see is my old car. Im like "sweet! It has alot of good shit" so i pull the early is airdam and passenger side elipsoid (driver side was smashed) walk up to counter and hes like "125" i say "no, ill give you 50" he says "100" i say "no, ill give you 50" he says "75" i say "no, ill take my mooney elswhere" and head for the door. I get the door about halfway open and i hear dude say "wait" i turn around and he says "fuck it, 50 bucks"
Im kind of a dick when dealing with those fucking pirates.

I was helping the in-laws sell their suv for $13k and got plenty of offers for 8k cash... in the end we sold it for 11,750 i think. Also tried to sell my dirtbike for $700 and some crackhead wanted to trade for a PS3 with 1 game and 1 remote and wanted me to deliver the bike to him since it wouldnt fit in his GFs car haha. I ended up selling the bike to a young kid for $650, i bought that bike for $450 on CL because i lowballed the seller :nice:

I love lowballing f it. Some people never get any calls and take my crap offer. Last weekend I picked up am 83 528e straight body clean title only problem is bad cluster......he wanted a grand I drove it away for 600 by the time I got home I had discovered a bad heater core. I would have been pissed if I payed a grand.

This weekend I decided to try again( I need a family car, the 2 door e30 is not cutting it) I bought an 86 325e for 180$ and a pos ps3 I knew the car needed a fuel pump. At least that's what I was told . I through an extra amf I have on it and it runs great. All the power stuff works. I cannot find any thing to tinker with and fix that's not cosmetic. It needs a fender,and paint to be pretty much perfect. Even the engine bay is spotless, not a drop of oil! I'm pumped lowballing wins.

I'm a lowballer. Take my truck i just got. I've seen it sitting for about a month before i asked about it. It's not very pretty, and i had no clue what was wrong with it before i bought it. So i stop off and ask about it. The guy said it's pretty beat up! I was like i seen that lol. He said make an offer... I almost said $50. But didn't want to insult him. And i knew if it was junk i could get $300-350 out of it for scrap. So i said $100!!! He said SOLD!!!! I thought i should of asked $50! haha. But it runs and drives, 4wd works and it needs major tlc. But for a lowball offer of $100. I couldn't be happier or more glad i offered such a low price.

I always geting deals at the junker. My buddy and I pulled an 88 subaru fwd trans and they wanted 103. I sad hell no, ill give 60. They bit.

When i listed my m10 318i for 800 i had a guy text me offering 300. When i said no way dude the price is low as it is he responded with "400! Come on man it a 84!" I told him not to contact me again
