A giant garage space would be nice, in theory. Not saying anybodys shady n all, but I've been burned by "friends" and for that reason, I refuse to have a large space for more then 3 good people I know. Now ill have to check out the space right next door to where I work. Good garage, and the lots been empty for about a year now.

      Conclusion:
Based on personal desires, I've ended up with a house and garage just north of Ballard. It's not big, but its out of the rain, and should provide some decent space once I add lights. I'll be able to walk down the stairs in the evenings and tinker with the car for 5 minutes or 5 hours, and then wander back upstairs to my fridge when I get tired, or need a refill.

Good for you man! Great area. I just moved to Seattle myself and am looking for space. Sadly I'm in an apt S Lake Union. But looking for space or a mechanic recommendation (since I don't have many tools) for front hubs on my e30. Anything you recommend? I'm trying to get it done probably next weekend? Did you find anywhere at all you can rent a garage up in that area?

        Thanks,

          Thanks,
My room mate and I looked at places all over South Lake Union, because that's where he works. However I never did find a place outside of my own house to do any work. But I'm only in week two, where half of it was burned on Thanksgiving. Half my shit is still in boxes and I desperately need a haircut, but finding a place to do that is like #15 on a list of important shit to do/find/learn.

Do let me know if you find anything though :)

Cool Thx. I'm looking for triage next weekend. If you even know of a mechanic let me know. Cheers, might consider it in the future.
