    FS: 1995 e34 S50 Touring

    ***************SALE IS PENDING!*****************

Well, after being e30-less for just over a year now, I have finally found my way back behind the wheel of an incredible '87 325iS! That means the wagon has got to go now unfortunately.

I purchased the car August of 2011. I have put roughly 6-8k miles on the car in the time since. Here is a copy of the original for sale ad from Tavern Gnome (who I purchased the car from via r3v).

    Tavern Gnome original ad:
Hey guys, I'm selling my amazing Touring. Fantastic car built by some legit guys, Jack (JaxS50), Tim (VacMan) and Saliya (euromcars).

1995 BMW 525i Touring. 200K on chassis. Low mileage engine and 5 speed manual transmission out of an E36 M3. Just about everything mechanically is new. Drives, starts, brakes, like a brand new car. The perfect mix of performance, utility, reliability and economy. I genuinely hate to sell it but my finances force me to. Southern California car it's entire life until this year. Built with no expenses by some of the most knowledgeable people in the BMW community.

    - 1995 E36 M3 Modified S50 Engine
    - Ported and polished heads
    - Titanium Retainers
    - EURO E36 M3 3.5inch HFM with 21 LBS Injectors Turner Chip
    - Engine has under 50K miles, 20k since the head work
    - It made 238 HP at the wheels through a Supersprint Header
    - 5 Speed E36 M3 ZF Transmission 70k Miles
    - Completely rebuilt driveshaft
    - UUC light weight aluminum Flywheel and UUC Clutch
    - Hartge cat-back exhaust
    - Racing Dynamics Bilstein Sport Shocks with H & R Springs, all the upper mounts
    - 3.23 Limited Slip Differential- Traction Control Removed
    - 17 x 8 E34 M5 Wheels. I have a set of Turbine covers I'll throw in but they are missing center caps.
    - AC blows COLD
    - Braking system is completely new.
    - E34 M5 Bumpers, front and rear
    - HID headlight kit
    - Everything works. The dual sunroofs function perfectly as do all of the hatch functions. All windows roll up and down quickly and smoothly. No funny electrical gremlins anywhere.
    - JVC CD- MP3- IPod deck.
    - etc etc

Nothing was spared during the build/ swap. Used parts were discarded and replaced with new OEM parts throughout. Even down to hoses and clamps. Meticulous receipts and notes included. Mechanically the car needs absolutely nothing.

    Things that could use attention:

    - The driver's seat base is ripped and could stand to be replaced or recovered. The passenger seat is a little dry.
    - The headliner should be redone soon.
    - The roof is faded and should be repainted. I had the hood stripped to bare metal and repainted with the M5 bumpers. The hood could use a cut and polish, not bad though. My plan was to repaint the entire car this winter but unfortunately I'm not going to have the cash. The car deserves it.
    - The factory M50 exhaust manifold and 200K mile catalytic converter and still in place. The car needs a good header and free flow cat. There is a LOT of power bottle-necked right there.
    - The windshield is cracked but I have a new one that I'll include.
    - The shadowline trim is cracking in a few places. Easy fix.
    - Wheel lips could stand to be refinished or polished.

There is well over $10,000 invested in this car, plus a whole lot of man hours. Its as sorted of a driver as they come. I really wanted to finish the car but like I said, I just can't afford to. Hopefully the next owner can. $8,500 or a very near offer. Thanks,

So, now I'll get into the car's current state. Since owning it I have done the following to it:
-Replaced fog lights with very nice condition ones. Has yellow lamin-x covers
    -Black kidneys
-Sanded down the roof (Had terrible sun damage from Cali. Planning on either vinyl wrapping it or plasti-dipping the roof for now)
-18x8.5, 18x9.5 staggered BBS CSL reps with good tires (About 5-7k miles on them)
    -15mm spacers

    Things additionally that need fixing/attention:
-Passenger front seat has seat twist (Common in e34's. I tried fixing, but now one side moves forward and back faster than the other side)
-Shift knob is loose and spins around. Needs to be replaced.
-There is currently speed wobble in the rear passenger wheel, but only when going about 53-57 mph. It just recently started doing this, but I haven't been driving it much because I have an e30 now. I suspect it's either a bad wheel bearing or needs to be balanced properly. I haven't had the time to get at it yet because of work and school, but as soon as I do I plan on it.
-Gas cap door is kind of broken. It just doesn't stay shut all the time. I just keep a small piece of black electrical tape on it to keep it from flying open while driving.

****** Got better quality day-time pictures of the car! Note that it hasn't been washed too recently! ******

I'm looking to get $6,000 for it. I really wish I had the time and money to fix this wagon beast up because the car is a blast to drive. I got compliments all the time, and tons of thumbs ups (especially from other wagon drivers of the sorts) while driving it around. It truly is a great car, and I hope someone can give this a good home who can give it the attention and time it needs.

I'm open to negotiate, but please be reasonable. I'm busy and don't have time to waste if you aren't actually interested. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions or would like to discuss buying the car. Thanks!

    - Parker
