I Wish you the best of luck as well. But just like 2man stated. I have owned a couple Mk1 VW's and I wish I could have gotten that out of them.
I even sold my rabbit with mint BBS RS's for a little less than that.
If this was under 2k I would actually consider it.Comment

Well I had one guy come from Vancouver Canada but we couldn't settle on a final price, one other guy will be here today at 1 so we'll see what happens. I know what the car is worth yes, but what I want out of it is a different story. People told me 7,500 for my IS was too much but after only 2 months the right person came by and didn't even attempt to haggle me down.Comment

I could have said something similar about that POS eta you showed me, but I didn't because it is an ass hole move. This car is clean and the pictures are good enough to see the actual condition of the car. You went as far as telling me as I was standing looking at the car that "that's the only real body damage... otherwise it is clean" and then when I pointed out 5 or 6 more flaws you just said, "Oh yeah... those were there when I bought it so I don't really notice them." I hope someone didn't get duped in to paying WAY too much to buy that car the way you did.
Sorry for the rant... I normally wouldn't shit talk someone's car on here, but it a real douche move to post what you did in a person's for sale thread... I don't care what you think you know about the value of the car and what other car was sold for.
EDIT: Just saw your second post...
No one cares how much your disgusting Jetta went for. That is an ugly ass car even in mint condition and (SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!) it is beat to shit. You really like to make people believe your cars are nicer than they really are. If your ETA was indicative of how you assess automobiles, then you should do some more lurking around and look what actual nice cars look like.Originally posted by 2manI had a heavily modified turbo diesel jetta coupe with a rebuilt motor and a ton of mods and it sold for ... wait for it.... $3500
Im really not trying to shit on your parade here, but I've been into A1 VWs for a lot longer than Ive been into E30s and I know a car thats worth $3500 and one that isnt. Ive watched this and hoped you would drop the price to where it should be priced at ($2000-$2500 MAX), but you havent so I dont see it going anywhere....
Realistically, its a stock rabbit with $300 coils. GLWS
I knew what a POS your car was after looking at it, but I respectfully declined to make an offer to you and I didn't post what I saw in your FS thread.Last edited by TwoJ's; 11-16-2012, 02:43 AM.

posting at 3am? really? might be time to put the bottle down and get some sleep...
I wanted to post something for a while and hesitated, but I figured I would try to help with bringing the pricing closer to something that would get it sold.I knew I would be delete my post once Karlo saw it. As far as you not liking MY car and MY pricing, that has absolutely nothing to with this thread. Your opinion of a Jetta coupe also has nothing to do with this thread.
Karlo will get good money for it, I have no doubt about it. again, GLWSSimon

Thank you for saying what everyone else was thinking. No one cares if someone who speeds through neighborhoods thinks its worth 2500.
OP: GLWS Free bump!
