Did you try disconnecting the shocks? You shouldn't need a spring compressor at all.

Did you disconnect the shocks as well as the diff? If nothing works, have someone use a crowbar to hold them down while you pop out the springs.

Disconnect the shocks from the trailering arms. That will do it.

I go to UW and may be able to lend a hand in the afternoon if you're real close. Send me a pm tomorrow if disconnecting the shocks and sway bar doesn't do the trick. Do you have a large prybar? I just did the springs on mine and that's all I used.

Back is fairly easy if I'm not mistaken, pop off the sway bars and they basically fall out.

Ya, no need to fuck with the diff. It's literally 2 bolts on each side. Shock off, swaybar disconnected, boom.

When I did mine they were hard to get out no matter how far I pushed down the trailing arms. SO I compressed them a little and then pushed down the trailing arms and pulled them out. I go to UW and would give you a hand..

Replacing rear springs should take 30 minutes max and thats from taking the jack/stands out, replacing springs, drinking a beer and putting the jack/stands back on shelf... like everyone said, unbolt the shocks and sways and your good to go.

^^What he said, it should take someone longer to drive to your house then it does to swap them..

Take the ebrake off also, it will let the trailing arms drop more.

Car is on a lift, the sway bar and socks are disconnected, doing a h and r swap, fronts went fine. Even with a compressor the trailing arm will not drop enough, I have never been stuck like this before.

                              Sunday anyone?
