also, I think PCA is doing an autocross as well in the drag racing paddock, so you can enter that as well (they have some fun courses.)

So? We ain't pansy NASCAR - we'll race in the rain. Hell, I was out in the snow at the beginning of the year.

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me Keith! Yes I will need those, don't think I can pass off with using the "spare tire counterweight" next year..

What do you need to do autocross? SCCA membership (for the weekend) and admission?

Nope, this is a PCA event. So you need three things:

                  1) A Car
                  2) A Helmet
                  3) $

...and there you go. It's the Porsche club, so you can sometimes get 4 or 5 runs instead of the normal 3.

                      2) Any loaners?
                      3) How much $?

                      Thanks.

...we did, too. Fuck, that rain was slippery this time out....

(We being Bob, Frank, Bill, Mike, Dale, Greg and Toby. Yes, we changed drivers at every fuel stop)

You guys both ran good, wish we could have made an E30 sweep but spent the first 3 hours chasing down an electrical gremlin (which turned out to be that damn fusible link between the battery and the ECU.)

Hopefully some of Doug's pics come out because on the last few laps of my stint (around 7) I was all over Mearns car in the corners! :)
