    Absolutely double check your grounds. The one from the starter to the alternator, and from the block to the body... Maybe a nut is loose or something...

            Car starts fine replaced coolant temp sensor, adjusted valves & changed oil... ordered a cps and will replace it tomorrow... but now I'm pretty sure its knocking
