ARP now offering head stud kit for M20

If anyone is going the boasted route, or (like me) has had to remove their head several times..

In the new 2013 ARP catalog, a new part number 201-4305 is listed as a head stud kit for BMW M20.. So now, any supplier that can get ARP, can hook you up with head studs! Going price I have found online is around $225, going to see what I can find local (since I have to pull the head off AGAIN..)

I believe those were for another engine that they shortened. These you can buy from anyplace that can get ARP stuff.

Just don't overboast it. Overboasting can lead to hot-headedness.

It doesn't make sense, I thought only people from south of the equator were upside down.

Damn, nothing gets by you guys..

Everyone and their dog knows that IE/VAC..etc have been selling pieced together kits, but now that there is an actual ARP part number, this could mean that other places will start stock them, including possibly more local businesses.

And with that comes competitive pricing.

The IE studs were never shortened or modified in any way. Be interesting now that ARP lists a part number. As for competitive pricing. Think its already been pretty competitive, those that have tried to "piece together" kits trying to do it on the cheap have found there is very little mark up on them.
