So I work for an airline, and frequently find myself marooned in various cities for varying lengths of time. Usually the most interesting thing to do at the hotel is.... nothing.

So in an effort to my my job more interesting, meet some cool people, and see some cool cars... this is the thread where I will post which God-forsaken place I'm in, and see if anyone's around. Most of the time I'm in the PacNW, thus...


Example:
I will be in Redmond, OR at roughly midnight tonight, and I will be there until about 3:00 PM tomorrow.

Sounds good! I know there is a big Portland group, so next time I'm down there I'll be sure to post up. Unfortunately, we usually don't have overnights down there, as PDX is a crew base for us. Our training department is down in Portland as well though, so occasionally I do end up there.

Haha, it's not as cool as it sounds most of the time. I can't complain too much, though. It's one of the better jobs I've had and will theoretically get better with time...

My gf worked for jetBlue at their corporate HQ in LIC, NY this last summer. I lived in NY with here and enjoyed the flight benefits (flying for free). Most weekends we traveled. We went to Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, New Orleans, somewhere in Florida and I made a few trips back to Oregon. Flight benefits are amazing, not to mention the discounted hotel rates everywhere.

At the risk of continuing to talk to myself... here's an update.

I'll be in Bozeman this afternoon/evening, and then Reno on Tuesday night. Most likely hanging out at the In n' Out by the Holiday Inn, haha.
