      If granite is only on later cars then nevermind. The lighting does make it appear to be bright and similar to lachs, but sure if it had been silver he'd would have known that. Besides looking at the front where the light isn't bright, looks too dark for lachs. So then maybe me original guess of cosmoblau was right

        Hm according to the chart, my e30 should be Alpineweiss II, but it's Alpineweiss I (1991 sedan).

          Negative. Unless it was resprayed alpine I, it was alpine II from the factory. No car was painted alpine I from the factory after 1988.

              After looking over all the colors, we came to the conclusion it must have Platanengrun Metallic that was one some '84-'86 cars
