I hate Evos! They are shit! And the sti looks much meaner. Although yes everyone has a subi. But the legacy was such an amazing car. I loved every little bit of it... Except for the fact that it was an auto.. An literally I hardly drove my own car. Had my friends drive it because of the auto!

Right. So what exactly is wrong with an Evo IX, other than the fact that morons turn them into drag cars and destroy the drivetrain?

The chassis/suspension/handling is superior to an STi, the brakes are about the same, and you can make more power for less money. I'd take a 4G63T over a Subie motor that cracked pistons in stock form any day...

Evo 10 is a different story tho.. But honestly thing for me with newer cars is the Inside. And the Evo can't pull that off ... Neither the sti. Then body... Still Evo can't do anything about tht. Ugly.
I will agree with you an Evo is a little more superior in mostly all aspects then an sti. But then how about reliability?
Mitsubishi is not one of the more reliable cars out there! That for me is that main reason why sti over Evo.

Mitsubishi is reliable evo wise, not so much on their lower end cars.

Imo they are both lame. Ford Focus rally car any day mother fucker.

Or one of those renault rally cars...

They are plenty reliable unless the owner decides to do the retarded drag-car thing and make 28 pounds of boost and launch at redline... The problems most Evos have suffered are due to the ownership, not the engineering. It's kind of the same reason that you don't see many Japanese sportbikes older than 8-10 years. It's not that they won't last that long... I found the inside of an Evo IX to be a rather nice place to be...

When you can find me a reasonably low-mileage used one for 17-18k, then I'll buy it. Until then, Evo all day long...

+1!! EVO IX all day long. EVO X is where mitsubishi tried to go refined and compete with G37s, 3 series etc. Doesnt make sense to me.

God, They are making cars all look the same now-a-days, this looks like an FRS/BRZ/2013 FORD FUSION! lol I love subie, but i think they need to make the GC8 again or at least the 06 STI Again, those were the best styles IMO.

                          It's no GC8.
