    I'm going to share something with all you still attached to Windows 7. There's a secret hidden inside the Windows 8 framework, but few know about it. Windows 8 actually contains Windows 7, just faster; it's code-name is "desktop". Most people don't know how to access this amazing feature because it requires one of two external devices: a mouse, or keyboard. Even with these devices you have to find the secret buttons on them to activate this hidden mode.

    I'll provide a step-by-step for both devices below.

    Mouse: left click.

    Keyboard: Windows key.

    I know both ways are complicated, but I believe in you all. Good luck PNW.
    Different strokes for different folks.

        when im using mu mac laptop i just click on the right side of the trackpad, or with two fingers and those both are "right click"

        You must not have used a mac in years.

          im not stupid, windows 8 is. it's bearable on a touch screen, but putting on a non-touch device makes the user experience terrible. it's great at touch and it's not great with a mouse. and metro mode is retarded. i dont need duplo blocks blocks to click on and using touch on the desktop is still not great.

            Mercing = making? lol

            Urban Dictionary: Mercing: to injure or kill someone (or damage or destroy something) in exchange for payment.

            I will agree with you there. Apple is pretty far ahead when it comes to laptop mouse touchpads, way more fluid but I avoid using touchpads and mouse nipples. LINK

              You can disable the metro mode entirely if im not mistaken, so its just windows 7 without a start button, its honestly not that big of a deal that you guys are making it that you have to click a tile or press the start button to get to the desktop...

                Werd to this. I have not used a Windows based machine for my own personal use in 7+ years now and I will never look back.
