If he went cheap on the wheels he went cheap everywhere else, expect overspray, expect that this was really a 1984 318i, expect fingertight/and or not put back together right pieces etc.

It's not that people hate the car, moreso the man behind the build. Sure there were some corners cut but the car does look great. I'm surprised more people don't build M3 vert replicas considering BMW only made 500 or so and real M3's are getting crazy expensive.

I'd love to build a M3 look-a-like vert. Dtm makes nice looking kits, but hard to justify spending 2k on a body kit.

I think that car is amazing looking, but from the gouge around here sounds like the build quality may be sketch.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I really wanted one. Get an early vert because anything looks better than the diving boards on those and you can get them cheap too. One with minor body damage would be perfect cuz u don't have to feel guilty about chopping it up...lol.
