I lived just east of Seattle for a little and didn't like it. Everyone acted like they were entitled to everything. But for living there during the fall and winter months, it wasn't that bad. I was able to still enjoy doing things. But I missed the more relaxed vibes of the Portland area. So I just had to move back. Housing was more expensive in Washington for me than it has been in Oregon. Meanwhile, I found a job easier in Washington than Oregon. But it all depends on what kind of work you do or what you would be willing to do. And there are many colleges in the Portland area. :)

not quite true, most cali drivers dont do 60mph on the freeway, they go ~80. I go apeshit here because prius drivers are cruising a calm and cool 55mph in the fast lane and refuse to gtfo my way! :hitler:

This is dead wrong. By no means should you expect a job with a an AA in art appreciation but a technical degree will leave you with plenty of opportunities with all the engineering/science companies in the area(Boeing, Microsoft and many smaller tech companies). And it's over-educated.

Get a degree that takes some skill and effort and then get paid.
