    problem solved, thank you 5toes!

    thought I'd give this a try. if anyone on here can help my friend out it would be much appreciated. he's 318i (m10) alternator went out, he is on the side of the road on foster. SE Portland area

    if you think you can help a e30 guy out give him a call -Andrew

    Might ask Wishno or Dahows (David,) I know they both parted out an M10 car each, sometime last year.

      its the same part number as m20 I believe.

              No problem - I sold a local an m20 alternator for his m10 car and it worked fine for him too!
