We have an E46. The gf loves it but I feel its overweight, under powered and under engineered. I've had to replace almost every bit of suspension in it. The valve cover gasket leaked, I replaced it, it leaks again. The VANOS is starting to rattle, the diff bushings are shot and needing replaced, the damn sunroof seal tore and needs fixed. Guess what, it just rolled over 100k. I've put more maintenance dollars into that thing than my E30 that has almost double the miles.
