Best place in Western Washington for collision repair?

About a week ago, a guy side-swiped the driver's side of my (legally) parked E30.

After a bit of a battle with insurance, due to this guy not answering his phone, we managed to get them to claim full responsibility. They're giving us a $2,000 check to perform any repairs necessary.

I originally got a quote from a nearby shop (Cornforth-Campbell CARSTAR) for $1,900 to replace the side trim and mirror, repair the dents in the fender, and repaint the strip of missing paint along my entire car. On top of all that, they will wash, polish, and wax the entire car.

Does that seem like a decent deal? I really like the shop itself, they seem really nice and honest. But, I feel as if I maybe could save a little money somewhere else. Are there any other shops that I should check out?

Paramount Center in fife. Easily one of the best body shops in the south sound. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. Bunch of Pro-3 guy use them. I know the owner Russ, real stand up guy.

Try Automotive Images on Pacific Hwy just north of Milton. 253-922-8891. Ask for Brandon. Guy does amazing work and is one of the most talented fabricators I've seen. He's always taken care of any of my collision work and he paints cars for my dads restoration shop.

Paramount Center in Fife is good. Pacific Motor Co. in Tacoma is good.

Paramount centre in fife. The take care of my PRO3 and my Concours car was done by them. Best around, bar-none.

Another vote for Paramount. Amazing work. I used to deliver parts to them all the time.

It's been a number of years but when last dealt with Pacific Motor Co. it was a nightmare. My other car is a two year only car (body wise) so locating parts was difficult but I knew exactly where to find used good condition stuff. They didn't keep me in the loop even though I let everyone I talked to know I could get stuff. They used some broken parts and stuff that didn't fit quite right and explained it as, "It's an old car, it won't be perfect." I wasn't exactly asking for perfect, just good and at least difficult to notice what they repaired. To top it off, they left the convertible top down for who knows how many days while they had it out in their back lot during a week of rain.

Never had any of my own work done at paramount, but I have seen a lot of their work, and I'm impressed with it.

+1 for paramount in other words.
