    Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!!

5 degrees last week in Mapleton. Car sat for a week. Tried to start yesterday and turned over but no fire. Just a pop at the end when I turned the key off. Smelled like it was flooded.
Did internet search. Started at the air intake. Unsnapped the air filter housing. Started right up and ran like a champ. Coded 1444 so all seems to be well. Going to switch to a K and N filter and see how it goes for the rest of the winter.
Anybody else in the PNW have this problem. Mike in Mapleton

    That's weird....
Did the AFM "door" get stuck open some how? Then when you were fiddling with it got bumped free?

Could've also been a faulty relay. Just changed a friend's relay cus he started having issues when it got cold, it wound up getting sticky for some reason and caused the pump to run full blast all the time. His is a 86 eta. Hope it helps.

Damn, 5'; it's in the 90's here! I doubt that the filter had anything to do with that issue, but perhaps the oil lubricated K&N filters might help during that cold weather.

        Nice looking e30 btw.
