    Need a temporary weld!

So my girlfriend recently bought her e30 and the windshield wiper panel was horribly welded by the po instead of replaced. Well the other day it broke again. We need to have it patched up so she can drive it until we get a whole new panel. If any of you can weld or know somebody who can please let me know!

    Pictures of said weld:

There's nothing to weld to, everything's rotted out. Grind the rust down and fiberglass it.

Showed this to my dad, he welds to restore cars. You need a new cowl panel according to him. To get you by for now - get two large washers or fabricate them and sandwich the broken metal between the wiper assembly and the wiper. He said this may not hold for long, but will get you by until proper repair is posssible. Good luck!

So looks like it was salvageable. This guy was really good! And the grille covers it so youd never know. If any of you need work let me know and I'd be glad to give you his number. $60 with a life time guarantee.

I was too busy dicking off at your house and didn't get there until he was almost done haha. But he was able to patch it up and he ground it back down and then sprayed it with protectant. I saw it before he sprayed it and it looked really good. He even cleaned up the cancer on the back side.
